Marcello Benati is an enterprise architect with more than 25 years’ experience as a business intelligence architect and consultant for various for US and multinational companies.
His primary focus is transformational business Intelligence, where he leverages data insights and applies lateral creative thinking methods to resolve challenges, discover solutions, and unleash new opportunities. Marcello knows that if information is the currency of democracy, Data insights is the bank of our society.
Marcello has led successful consulting engagements focusing on large scale data warehouse and BI projects for various clients in the Midwest region and internationally, with clients such as Nielsen, Redbox, Eli Lilly, Laidlaw, International Trucks, Sears, Johnson & Johnson, HSBC, Pfizer, Microsoft, and others.
In the past 14 years, he has worked to evangelize the democratization of information and Microsoft’s vision of “BI to the masses,” while leveraging IT investments to offer comprehensive and SMART Solutions (Strategy, Monitor, Analyze, Report, Take Control). He works as a Data Platform Solution Specialist for Microsoft.
Addtionally, He combines data science and strategy to create solutions that are relevant and business-focused. Marcello holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a master’s degree in information technology, as well as various certifications in applied math, physics, predictive analysis, and fractal encryption. He has developed 12 patents and is a citizen of the United States and Brazil. He loves languages, and is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
